INT. CARPENTER'S STUDIO - EVENING
Elias picks him up. Bailey bites - GASP, Elias holds his breath to stifle his scream. He holds Bailey under his armpit. Bailey wrestles, he stretches... nope. He's stuck. Defeat.
Elias picks up a little saucer of sugar water from the table. He aims for Bailey’s mouth. He bites him again. The saucer crashes to the floor. The cub is free.
Elias turns on the sink to rush water over his aching hand.
Over his shoulder, the cub sniffs the liquid on the ground. Elias pours peroxide on his wounds, covering them with a couple of “bandages,” a cotton ball and Scotch tape.
He turns to tackle the cub once more until--
He finds Bailey slurping the sugar water off the floor.
Bailey looks at Elias with begging eyes.

INT. HELEN'S BEDROOM - EVENING
She pops open the 450-Worthy matte lipstick.
Pucker your lips like this.
She makes a kissing face. He raises an eyebrow.
Just try it. And if you don't like it...
She wipes some of the foundation off of her face. A busted pimple shows through.
He'll never know.
They share a trusting gaze. He bashfully puckers his lips for Helen. She crowns his upper lip with the color. Then his lower lip. Helen rubs her lips together. David does the same. It gets in his mouth.
This tastes like Play-Doh.
Helen motions to the mirror.
Check it out.
